MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raider soccer team wrapped up its preseason slate on Friday night, taking down Martin Methodist 2-1 in Pulaski, Tenn.
Sophomore and recent C-USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year Peyton DePriest scored both goals for Middle Tennessee. Freshman Hannah Tillett tallied the two assists.
The two sides completed penalty kicks at the end of regulation, for extra practice with MT coming out on top, 5-3.
"Both (preseason) games gave us opportunities to assess the strengths and weaknesses of our squad," said Head Coach Aston Rhoden.
