STATESBORO, Ga. – Middle Tennessee recovered from a rocky start in the second round of the Schenkel Invitational on Saturday, but the Blue Raiders fell two spots to 12th place heading into the third and final round. MT combined for 11 scores over par on holes 10-14 – its first five holes of the round – before going 1-under on the front nine.
"We got off to a rough start and just could not dig out of the hole," head coach Mark McEntire said. "I'm proud of the way Nick and Owen battled back and gave a solid round.
