The Siegel Lady Stars shutout district opponents on consecutive nights, beating Riverdale 6-0 on Wednesday, followed by a 4-0 victory over Blackman on Thursday.
"We have everybody contributing," Siegel coach Michael McGoffin said. "Last night, we had five different scorers; tonight, we got lucky because one was an own goal. But we've got a lot of kids that are pressing high and we're just gelling as a team. We're knocking the ball around, we're playing comfortable and our back lines are tightening down. Right now, that's two clean sheets in our district, which I think is one of the toughest districts in the state.
