Siegel's baseball team clinched the District 7 championship this week in emphatic fashion with a 10-0 five-inning win over Smyrna at home.
Senior pitcher Jacob Key improved to 7-0 on the season as he threw a two-hit shutout.
The Stars split the next two games of the three-game series against the Bulldogs and are now 22-7 overall and 14-4 in league play.
Siegel will host the district tournament beginning Friday after first-round games are played earlier in the week at the higher-seeded teams. The Stars also are guaranteed a spot in the region tournament.
"It's a big deal for us," said Siegel coach Craig Reavis.
