MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Junior Brian Rono and senior Jaquez Torian were named to the Conference USA Men's Track and Field All-Academic Team for the 2021 season, as announced Wednesday by the league office.
Brian Rono posted a 3.714 GPA in integrated studies. This is the second C-USA All-Academic honor that Rono has received this year. He was named to the C-USA Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team in the fall. At the C-USA Outdoor Championships, Rono captured the gold in the 800-meter. He ran a new personal best of 3:45.
