Riverdale senior guard Anastasia Hayes was selected the Class AAA Miss Basketball recipient on Tuesday.
A finalist last year, she led her Lady Warriors to a state tournament championship. She has already been named a McDonald's All-American and is one of five finalists for the Naismith National Player of the Year.
The University of Tennessee signee has led her Lady Warriors to an undefeated record, state tournament appearance, first place state and national rankings.
She becomes the fourth Riverdale player to win the award. In fact, the Class AAA Miss Basketball has been from Murfreesboro six of the past seven years.
