During the first half of Friday's game against Spring Hill (3-1), the Riverdale Warriors (4-0) appeared to be something they hadn't been all season: beatable.
However, when the final whistle blew the red and gold showed once again they can battle through adversity, earning a 49-24 win at Tomahawk Stadium.
"These guys are playing for each other and playing hard as a team," Riverdale coach Will Kriesky said. "It's special to watch and to see them keep fighting for each other. They've had a lot of adversity hit them, so they'll keep working and keep getting better.
