MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Senior Leo Raquin was tabbed Conference USA October Athlete of the Month announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
"Leo 100-percent deserved this award," said MTSU Associate Head Coach Andrea Caligiana. "He had great results throughout the entire fall."
Raquin won the ITA Ohio Valley Regional to qualify for the ITA Fall Nationals in San Diego from November 1-5. Raquin fought back from losing the first set 4-6 to defeat Pau Fanlo of Memphis 6-4, 6-0 in the second and third set. The senior had an incredible run in the tournament.
