MEMPHIS – For the second year in a row, Middle Tennessee started its golf season with a victory. The Blue Raiders had a late birdie to edge past Arkansas State to win the 2017 Memphis Intercollegiate.
The Blue Raiders carded a final round 291 to finish with a 54-hole total of 868 on the Colonial Country Club course (par 72, 7,235 yards). It went down as the second victory for Head Coach Brennan Webb.
"I am very proud of the guys for coming out and meeting their expectations of winning this tournament," said Webb.
