SAN ANTONIO - After dropping both games of a doubleheader yesterday, the Middle Tennessee softball team (15-14, C-USA 1-2) bounced back, winning in an exciting extra inning affair against conference opponent UTSA (13-14, C-USA 2-1.) The Blue Raiders collected a total of five home runs to power them back from a 9-5 deficit, and would go on to win, 11-9, in nine innings.
After jumping out to an early 5-3 lead, on a pair of home runs by and , MT would lose the lead in the next half inning. UTSA's Paige Pacher would double in the bottom of the inning, scoring two Roadrunners and knotting the game up at, 5-5.
