TEXARKANA, Ark. – Middle Tennessee Men's Golf needed a strong round to put them back into the mix for a Top 4 spot in the Conference USA Championship, and delivered exactly that and then some in the second round of stroke play on Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders posted a round of 13-under par 275 – the lowest round ever recorded in Conference USA Championship history – to move from 10th place all the way to the top of the leaderboard by the end of the day.
The Blue Raiders are now three strokes clear of the current cut line to make match play semifinals with 18 holes of stroke play still to play on Wednesday.
