Raiders suffer first setback

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis team fell short to Vanderbilt, 4-1, on Friday at the Currey Tennis Center.

Senior Tom Moonen and junior Chris Edge kicked off the match for the Raiders, taking down Vanderbilt's Harwell and Freeman, 6-3.

Doubles point was decided by senior duo Max Rauch and Daniel Stormon on Court 3, the pair fought hard to secure the win, 6-4, and the doubles point.

Heading into singles, Moonen battled against Vanderbilt's Harwell but he clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-4.
