TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Middle Tennessee softball team traveled to Alabama over the weekend for a doubleheader with the Crimson Tide. The Blue Raiders fell in both games by scores of 6-0 and 13-0. Alabama was one of the eight teams to earn a spot in the Women's College World Series last season.
Cori Jennings started the first game in the circle for the Blue Raiders while Summer Burgess was the lone freshman in the lineup, getting the start at shortstop.
The Crimson Tide got on the board early in the first game but were held scoreless in three innings.
