THE WOODLANDS, Texas – In a lightning interrupted and daylight shortened first day at the Icon Invitational the Blue Raiders struggled Monday and sit in 14th place with just a few holes remaining in the second round.
"We started rough and made too many mistakes on the tough holes, and we just weren't as sharp as we should be with club choices in the wind and cool temperatures," Head Coach Chris Adams said.
Middle Tennessee had a rough start to the day, posting a 32-over par 320 in the opening round to put themselves down the leaderboard early before fighting back in round two.
