CINCINNATI – After 36 holes Monday at the Bearcat Invitational, Middle Tennessee is in sixth place but only 12 shots back of the overall lead. The Raiders had rounds of 283 and 276 to put them at 9-under par overall.
The 8-under par 276 second round equaled the ninth best round in school history.
Kentucky is the overall leader at 21-under par while Arkansas is second at 17-under par. Ohio State is third followed by Mississippi State and Illinois.
"We got off to a slow start this morning but Marcus (Byrd) kept us in it with a solid round," said Head Coach Brennan Webb.
