MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis heads North to Vanderbilt to compete in the June Stewart Invitational at Vanderbilt University this weekend.
Most recently, the Jayhawks competed in the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals. Zani Barnard and Lee Barnard made it to the quarterfinals of the main draw knocking off fifth-seed Bozovic and Andrinopoulous of Indiana, 8-4, before falling to Popova and Buberl of Lipscomb.
Not only did the twins succeed in doubles they also made strides in singles as both advanced to the Round of 32 before falling in three sets to the top seed and 17th seed respectively.
