MURFREESBORO – Athlon Sports recently released its 2018 Conference USA All-Preseason Team and Middle Tennessee was well represented with 11 players selected. The 11 selections equals the second most in C-USA.
The Blue Raiders placed wide receiver Ty Lee and offensive lineman Chandler Brewer on the first team offense. Lee, a second team pick last season, led the league in receptions in 2017 with a career best 79. Brewer was an honorable mention selection in 2017 after starting 12 games and averaging 67.5 snaps per game.
Second team members include quarterback Brent Stockstill, safety Jovante Moffatt and linebacker Khalil Brooks.
