TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Middle Tennessee women's soccer opened up their preseason slate on the road Thursday, battling Alabama to a 2-0 loss in their exhibition match in Tuscaloosa.
Several newcomers saw their first action in a Blue Raider uniform in the contest as Head Coach Aston Rhoden looks to mix his 11 newcomers in with 14 returners.
"It was nice to get out there and play someone besides ourselves," Rhoden said. "I think we got out of this game exactly what we were looking for."
The Raiders conclude their preseason schedule when they head to Martin Methodist for an exhibition match on Sunday, Aug.
