NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a tightly contested match for the first 70 minutes in Nashville, the Blue Raiders pulled away late for a commanding, 6-2, win against Jackson State Thursday night.
The six scores for Middle Tennessee marked the most they have collected in a match since an 8-0 win against Alabama A&M during the 2013 season.
Despite a close score for most of the evening, Middle controlled possession for much of the contest and tallied an eye-popping 33 shots with 15 on goal while holding Jackson State to just nine shots with five on frame.
