Raiders lose ground on day two in Bahamas

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – Middle Tennessee concluded round two of the White Sands Intercollegiate with a scorecard of 7-over par 295, falling to 10th place after a 9-under 279 in round one saw them high up the team standings after 18 holes.

The Blue Raiders remain within striking distance of some of the nation's top teams, currently only eight strokes back of No. 2 SMU who is in fifth place in the team standings.

Individually, the Raiders were steady across the board on Saturday with five rounds of either 1-over par or 2-over par, but failed to match the low numbers posted in round one.
