BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The first trip of the indoor season was a successful one for the Middle Tennessee track & field teams, earning 11 first-place finishes, while adding 30 finishers in the top-five in their respective events at the Emory Invitational.
"We have had a pretty good day," said head coach Dean Hayes. We won both high jumps and the triple jumps and I am very happy with what we have done today."
The Middle Tennesee women finished with the top spot in the team standings, scoring 129.50 points and beating rival Conference USA school Florida Atlantic (95).
