MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee softball team competed in another fall game on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Raiders hosted Cleveland State and smoked the Cougars 18-2 in 10 innings of action.
Gretchen Greer got the start in the circle, recording eight strikeouts in four innings of action. Cori Jennings, Pattie Ruth Taylor and Sarah Pinkston also saw time in the circle, racking up another five strikeouts between them.
The Blue Raiders had two big innings in the game, the second and the ninth. In the second, MT scored five runs all with two outs.
