Nashville, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee track and field teams concluded the regular season with five top-10 finishes at the Music City Challenge.
Akera Benton continues to shine in the jumping events, claiming third place overall in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.16m, about 1.38m shy of the record at Vanerbilt.
Willington Wright took the silver in the men's 400-meter event (47.10s) and Matthew Stewart finished 13th with a time of 48.85. For the women, Shawkia Iddrisu finished 6th overall and had a time of 55.
