KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis opened its weekend at the Volunteer Showdown with four wins against South Carolina, picking up three singles victories and a doubles win on Friday at the Goodfriend Tennis Center.
The Blue Raiders were led by Francisco Rocha and Max Rauch who went 2-0 on the day, teaming up in doubles for the lone Raiders win. Rocha defeated South Carolina's Daniel Rodrigues (6-2, 6-3), who was ranked No. 46 in the ITA ranking system earlier this year. Rauch clinched his indoors singles match by taking down Beau Pelletier (7-5, 6-4).
