NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After the two-day Black and Gold Invitational, three individual Blue Raiders claimed first-place finishes and one team gold place finish at the Vanderbilt event.
Joycelyn Assafuah and Jacob Patten claimed their second top-place finishes of the season while Chemadi notched his first of the outdoor season in their respective events.
Blue Raiders Notch Four First-Place Finishes in Nashville
In his second event of the Friday Invitational, Kigen Chemadi claimed a first-place finish in the men's 2,000-meter steeplechase. Chemadi finished five seconds faster than the second-place finisher with a time of 5:49.
