MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee's women's tennis team played host to Conference USA opponent Southern Mississippi on Sunday afternoon; it would be a tough match for the Blue Raiders as they would fall 4-3 to the Golden Eagles.
It was a good start for the Lady Raiders, as they secured the doubles point thanks to a 6-4 victory on court one from the pair of and , and a 6-3 victory on court two from and .
Middle Tennessee had a hard time keeping the momentum they gained from their doubles victory. Sophomore would be only one of two Blue Raiders to win a singles match.
