Kermit Davis, the winningest coach in MTSU men's basketball history, will be entering his 15th season.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a 25-10 season, a Conference USA Tournament championship and a 90-81 upset over No. 2 seed Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament.
MTSU has won at least 24 games the four of the past five seasons and has won more games than any other Division I program in Tennessee
Davis also led MTSU to 28 wins in 2013 when the Blue Raiders earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Davis has a 276-175 record at MTSU, a 347-225 Division I record and an overall record of 413-250 in 21 seasons as a head coach.
