MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – In Conference USA's ongoing release of the 2017-18 Preseason All-Conference team, Blue Raider senior Giddy Potts was announced Monday as the sixth member of the 10-man list.
The Athens, Ala., native is the leading returner in points (15.3) and rebounds (5.3) per game for the Blue Raiders while also leading the team in steals (47) a season ago.
The sharp-shooting guard shot 48.2 percent from the field in 2016-17 and boasts a career 3-point percentage of over 42 percent.
"Giddy will be the first one to tell you that the awards that really matter are the ones at the end of the season, but he's very deserving of this recognition," Head Coach Kermit Davis said.
