MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee senior point guard has been named C-USA Player of the Week following her dynamic performances in two Lady Raider wins last week.
Petty averaged 25 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.5 steals in the wins, which included a 64-61 conference road win at UAB. It marks the first time Petty has been named C-USA Player of the Week. Awards are chosen by a vote from a panel representing the 14 member schools.
Petty scored 29 of Middle Tennessee's 64 points in the win at UAB to equal her career high for scoring.
