MIAMI — FIU evened its weekend series against Middle Tennessee baseball with a late rally in an 11-6 victory Saturday.
One day after giving up an eight-run rally to the Blue Raiders (9-9, 1-1 Conference USA), the Panthers (10-9, 1-1 CUSA) scored eight runs of their own in the seventh inning to take the lead.
Gabe Jennings homered on the fourth pitch of the game as part of a two-run first inning. Eston Snider hit a two-run homer, and Jennings drove in a run with a double in the fourth inning.
