Oakland once again finished a game with the mercy clock running, as the Patriots finish their dominant regular season unbeaten with a 49-7 win over the visiting Smyrna Bulldogs in the Kia of Murfreesboro Game of the Week Friday night.
"It's a blessing leading this group of talented guys," said Patriot star and LSU commit Jacoby Stevens. "They could all be leaders themselves but choose to look to me. It speaks to the team's character that when we find a leader, not just myself, but guys like Kaleb Oliver and Jackson Cauthen, we listen to and follow those guys, and the result is what you see on the scoreboard.
