The Franklin Rebels (1-6, 0-4) had a pretty clever Galaga-themed homecoming float on the sidelines that read "blast the Patriots." It was probably no coincidence that it was placed in very close proximity to the Oakland bench either.
However, it was the Patriots (6-0, 3-0) that did the blasting Friday night in Franklin, as the Patriots routed the Rebels 41-7.
"I think we kind of played like we practiced this week," Oakland coach Kevin Creasy said. "Maybe they're a little disappointed that we had a football game on fall break, but I was tickled to death. It meant we had to do football stuff all day instead of part of the day.
