Oakland Middle School defeated Siegel Middle School 28-8 on Tuesday in dominating fashion.
An onside kick recovery by Oakland to start off the game led to a 27-yard touchdown run by Drew Lusk, who led his team with nine carries and more than 100 yards rushing.
The defense of the Siegel Cavaliers had a hard time finding an answer for the running game in the first half, allowing 94 yards.
Siegel was only able to successfully run 10 plays in the first half. The Chargers recovered two fumbles and a blocked punt, turning two of those turnovers into touchdowns to make the score 20-0 at halftime.
