In seemingly the first night of the week without rain, the Lady Patriots and Lady Stars played to a 1-1 tie at Ray Hughes Stadium.
"We knew it was going to be a tough game, a one-goal game," Oakland coach Jeff Boynton said. "District games are like that. We really aren't concerned record-wise with anybody, it's more so how they play versus how we play and how we match up. We really just tried to nullify what they were good at and counter with what we were good at.
