MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — There are many weeks that might qualify for the "best" week on the college sports calendar in a given year. The first weekend of March Madness is certainly a joy, the slate of Bowl Games right around New Year's Day is also fantastic. Underrated picks for me include the first weekend of the NCAA Baseball playoffs or the Men's and Women's College Cups in back-to-back weekends.
But for my money, if I could pick one week of college sports to watch a year, it would be this one. And while the rivalry week games on Saturday in football are a decent draw, the main course, for me at least, is the Holiday Basketball tournaments across the northern hemisphere.
