MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee football got back in the win column on Saturday, and got back to Murfreesboro from El Paso just before sunrise Sunday morning after knocking off UTEP on their homecoming.
But by the time the team got back to the Murphy Center later that day, it was all business for the Blue Raiders (4-4, 1-3 C-USA) as they prepared for a game at Louisiana Tech (2-6, 1-3 C-USA) on Saturday, with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
"They're 2-6, but it's a very deceiving record," head coach Rick Stockstill said.
