MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee men's and women's basketball teams will play their remaining non-conference games in Murphy Center without fans, Director of Athletics Chris Massaro announced Friday.
The women's final non-conference game is set for Dec. 20 while the men wrap up on Dec. 22.
"After further consultation with public health officials and the growing concern nationally with basketball, our university leadership and health professionals feel it is in the community's best interest to extend our no-fan policy," said Massaro.
