MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — 1-seed/No. 34-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis hosted No. 53 Liberty in the championship of the Conference USA Championships on Sunday, April 21. MTSU tallied a 4-2 victory over the Flames to earn their fifth straight CUSA title.
The win became the fifth ranked win of the season for the Blue Raiders.
MTSU secured the doubles point with wins on court No. 3 and No. 1. Jakub Kroslak and Shu Matsuoka tallied a 6-1 win on court No. 3 against Hadzimehmedovic and Samardzic. On court No. 1, No. 26 Ondrej Horak and Leo Raquin claimed the doubles point for MTSU with a 6-3 victory over Thomas-Smith and Miguel.
