The No. 1 ranked Riverdale Lady Warriors remain undefeated, beating No. 5 ranked Stewarts Creek 69-56 in front of a full house at Riverdale in the Kia of Murfreesboro Game of the Week Tuesday.
It was only the Lady Red Hawks second loss of the year, both coming at the hands of Riverdale.
"They (Stewarts Creek) are a high-energy, high-motor, physical basketball team," said Riverdale coach Randy Coffman. "I thought they really got after us in 50-50 balls and on the offensive glass in the first half. We got a little better in the second half.
