Netters hit the road to take on FGCU

Match Notes

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's tennis will be looking to continue the momentum gained from two home wins last weekend as they travel to Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday.

"The girls have worked really hard in practice this week," MT head coach Charlie Ramsay said. "We've thrown a lot at them over the past two weeks, and they've handled it well. This group wants to get better, and they want to be successful. They're just learning what it takes right now."

The Blue Raiders (7-3) have had lots of positives so far this season, as Kim Kermet leads the team in singles wins with an 8-1 record and is tied for the team lead in doubles wins at 5-2.
