HERMITAGE -- The TSSAA announced announced nine new Hall of Fame inductees on Thursday, including Murfreesboro native Alan Richardson.
The TSSAA Hall of Fame at the annual luncheon will be held April 9 at 11 a.m. the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference.
Richardson has assisted the TSSAA with its state golf championships in some capacity since 1987; held rules meetings for competitors at the state tournament for years; set up and organized Region tournaments across the state; in 1998 began directing the entire TSSAA state golf championship, including marking the course, obtaining rules officials, and holding coaches' meetings; since 1999 has traveled across the state to conduct TSSAA rules meetings for high school golf coaches.
