MTSU junior quarterback Brent Stockstill sustained a shoulder injury at Syracuse last Saturday that required an MRI on Sunday.
MTSU coach Rick Stockstill said it was too early to tell if he will play at Minnesota on Saturday, but the younger Stockstill said he was OK.
"I'm doing good. I got a little banged up, but it's part of the game and part of the position, but after a win everything is a little sweeter so I'm not too worried about it," Brent Stockstill said. I'm just a little sore but I'll be all right."
Coach Stockstill said his son sustained the injury in the second half, although he continued to play and led the Blue Raiders to a 30-23 upset.
