MTSU women crush FIU 95-43

MTSU's women continued their dominance over Conference USA foe FIU Thursday, trouncing the Panthers 95-43 at Murphy Center.

The win, which was MTSU's largest margin of victory since taking down Louisiana by 51 on Jan. 7, 2012, and its most lopsided win ever in Conference USA play, makes the Lady Raiders 26-9 all-time against FIU. They've won nine games in a row in the series.

"I think the biggest thing was tonight we played as a team," sophomore Alex Johnson said. "We distributed the ball well and played well on the glass."

All 10 Lady Raiders played and all of them got into the scoring column, led by Johnson's 22-point effort on 7-of-9 shooting.
