MTSU and Western Michigan, which will square off in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl on Christmas Eve, are somewhat mirror images of one another.
Western Michigan (7-5) quarterback Zach Terrell has thrown for 3,229 yards and 27 touchdowns while throwing just eight interceptions. Receiver Daniel Braverman has 103 catches for 1,270 yards and 12 touchdowns, while Cory Davis has 82 catches for 1,253 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Broncos also have a punishing running game, led by Jamauri Bogan with 865 yards. He, Jarvion Franklin and LaVante Bellamy have combined for more than 2,000 yards on the ground.
