MTSU's basketball teams are set to open up Conference USA play next week as both will face UAB.
The Lady Raiders play the Blazers at home on Sunday Jan. 2, with the men's game to follow the next night in Birmingham, Alabama.
So, with about 11 games under their respective belts, are the Lady Raiders and Blue Raiders battled test enough for the grind of C-USA?
From a schedule standpoint there is no doubt both teams have prepared themselves. Both coaches certainly could have scheduled more wins, but one has to be impressed with the opponents MTSU played and beaten.
