MTSU's football team suffered a 45-25 whipping at the hands of Texas-San Antonio last Saturday, but the Blue Raiders lost much more than a game.
Sophomore quarterback Brent Stockstill, who went down with a injury in the second quarter against the Roadrunners, is out for the remainder of the regular season.
"He got hurt the first play of the second quarter. He got hit and sort of pile driven onto his right shoulder," said MTSU coach Rick Stockstill. "He finished the drive. It broke his collarbone. He finished the drive and came to the sideline, and they did the touch test and knew it was broken.
