NASHVILLE - Giddy Potts scored seven of Middle Tennessee's last nine points to 59-59 tie and lead the Blue Raiders to a 68-63 win over UNCW in game two of the Challenge In Music City at Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Friday night.
Potts broke the tie with a jumper, 3 and layup on consecutive trips down the floor, giving the Blue Raiders a 66-63 edge with 15 seconds to play. Reggie Upshaw then put the game on ice, draining two free throws with 4.7 seconds to play.
Potts led all players with 22 points after scoring 15 points in the second half.
