MTSU men complete sweep with 86-57 win at FAU

MTSU completed its second Conference USA road sweep with an 86-57 whipping of FAU on Saturday night.

The win was the seventh straight for the Blue Raiders, who improved to 17-3 overall and 7-0 in conference play. FAU fell to 5-13 and 1-6.

A near one-hour power outage before the game didn't affect the Blue Raiders at all as they shot 51 percent in the first half and built a 45-21 lead.

Junior guard Giddy Potts led the Blue Raiders with 17 points, and JaCorey Williams and Reggie Upshaw netted 14 points each.

"We just stayed focused and came out and did our thing," Potts said of the lights going out in the gymnasium.
