The MTSU football team continued its mental and physical reset in a spirited Blue-White Spring Finale on Saturday in temperatures that felt more like August.
The near record heat may have helped remind the Blue Raiders what awaits them in early September -- Vanderbilt, Syracuse and Minnesota.
Coach Rick Stockstill said he was "pleased" overall with what he saw this spring from a young team coming back from injuries and an 8-5 campaign that ended with a 52-35 Christmas Eve loss to Hawaii.
"We still have summer and camp to form our identity," Stockstill said. "We've got to get a lot tougher mentally, and we've got to get a lot tougher physically.
