MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team showed signs of light on Friday night, but ultimately dropped the match in El Paso. The three-set match saw the Blue Raiders hit .169 and rack up eight total blocks.
The Blue Raiders (15-10, 4-7 C-USA) lost their first match against the UTEP Miners (13-10, 3-8 C-USA) in three years, with set scores of 23-25, 16-25, and 22-25.
Freshman Adri Rhoda led the way for the Blue Raiders, racking up a match-leading nine kills on 22 attempts to go along with two service aces.
